OTHER EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

Bilateral agreements

Bilateral agreements which are signed between universities, faculties or departments allow student exchange in the frame time specified in the agreement itself. Usually student exchange lasts from one to two semesters in one academic year.
The candidates are chosen by their home institution; afterwards their nominations are being sent to our office.
The final decision about acceptance belongs to the director of the department/faculty the student is applying to and is made based on the sent documents (application form, cv, cover letter along with detailed study plan).
The deadline for submitting applications is June 15th (for studies in winter semester and entire academic year) and November 30th for studies in the summer semester. You can find the academic calendar here.
After the decision about acceptance has been received the student will be provided with an acceptance pack with an official acceptance letter and other practical information regarding studies and living in Cracow.
The admitted students are waved from paying the study fees (this does not apply to English language courses). They receive student’s ID card which entitles them to using the libraries and reading rooms, discounts in public transportation (if under 26 year of age), exam cards, tutor and if possible – accommodation in students’ residence (double or triple rooms only).
