NON-DEGREE RESEARCH STAYS International scholars have the opportunity to join the Jagiellonian University for post-doctoral research as well as for short-term research stays. Students can either apply within a framework of existing governmental/university bilateral agreements or individually. In the first case applicants should contact relevant institutions at their home country. Individual requests for short-term research stays consisting of: 1. Written request to the director of appropriate institute stating the precise time of a research and strong motivation 2. Research plan 3. Curriculum vitae 4. Copy of the passport page with photo 5. Short-term research students receive student identification cards giving access to university libraries as well as a 50% reduction on public transport and railway tickets if they are under the age of 26. Please remember that after being accepted for research stay and upon arrival, all international research students must register at the International Students Office. Research students can participate free of charge in a Polish language course as well as apply for accommodation in university housing. |
