GENERAL INFORMATION

PROGRAMS

In the summer of 2008 the School will offer three-, four- and six-week programs. Within each program you can take the Polish language course and/or up to four additional courses from the list below. Make sure that the courses you choose do not overlap and that they are taught during your participation in the program (please check dates carefully)!

A - four-week program
Dates: July 4-31. Altogether 28 days, 20 days of classes Arrival date: Thursday, July 3. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m. Departure date: Thursday, July 31 All courses will be also held on Saturday, July 12! Price (in Polish currency): 5,596 PLN (includes non-refundable 210 PLN prepayment, tuition, room and board, tourist and cultural programs) Price: 2,590 PLN (tuition and 210 PLN prepayment only)

B - six-week program
Dates: July 4-August 14. Altogether 42 days, 30 days of classes Arrival date: Thursday, July 3. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m. Departure date: Thursday, August 14 All courses will be also held on Saturdays, July 12; and afternoon courses also and August 2! Price (in Polish currency): 7,349 PLN (includes non-refundable 210 PLN prepayment, tuition, room and board, tourist and cultural programs) Price: 3,430 PLN (just the tuition and 210 PLN prepayment)

C - three-week program
Dates: July 4-24. Altogether 21 days, 15 days of classes Arrival date: Thursday, July 3. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m. Departure date: Thursday, July 24. Check-out time: before 10:00 a.m. All courses will be also held on Saturday, July 12! Price (in Polish currency): 4,444 PLN (includes non-refundable 210 PLN prepayment, tuition, room and board, tourist and cultural programs) Price: 2,390 PLN (just the tuition and 210 PLN prepayment)

D - three-week program
Dates: July 25-August 14. Altogether 21 days, 15 days of classes Arrival date: Thursday, July 24. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m. Departure date: August 14 All courses will be also held on Saturday, August 2! Price (in Polish currency): 4,444 PLN (includes non-refundable 210 PLN prepayment, tuition, room and board, tourist and cultural programs) Price: 2, 390 PLN (just the tuition and 210 PLN prepayment)

NOTE:

1. Three-week programs as well as the six-week program are intended as the most intensive Polish language courses. Remember: 4-5 hours of Polish a day, five times a week!
2. The initial days listed above (July 4, July 25) are the days of the beginning of the programs (opening ceremony, inaugural lecture, Polish language placement test). Students should arrive in the dormitory the day before (i.e. July 3 or July 24, check-in time: after 4:00 p.m.; the first night is included). The last days are the days of departure.
3. All prices are listed in Polish currency (PLN).
4. Written language exams as well as all in-class tests are included in the total number of academic hours.
5. All courses will be also held on Saturdays, July 12 and August 2!
