PROGRAMS

In the summer of 2010 the School will offer three-, four- and six-week programs. Within each program you can take the Polish language course and/or up to four additional courses from the list below. Make sure that the courses you choose do not overlap and that they are taught during your participation in the program (please check dates carefully)!

A – four-week program

Dates: July 5-August 1. Altogether 28 days, 20 days of classes

Arrival date: Sunday, July 4. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m.

Departure date: Sunday, August 1

Intensive Polish Language course: 75 hours, 5 credits/5 ECTS points

Non-intensive Polish Language course: 45 hours, 3 credits/3 ECTS points

Price (in Polish currency): 5,866 PLN (includes non-refundable 300 PLN prepayment, tuition, room and board, tourist and cultural programs)

Price: 2,590 PLN (tuition and 300 PLN prepayment only)

B – six-week program

Dates: July 5–August 15. Altogether 42 days, 30 days of classes

Arrival date: Sunday, July 4. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m.

Departure date: Sunday, August 15

Intensive Polish Language course: 120 hours, 8 credits/8 ECTS points

Price (in Polish currency): 7,649 PLN (includes non-refundable 300 PLN prepayment, tuition, room and board, tourist and cultural programs)

Price: 3,430 PLN (just the tuition and 300 PLN prepayment)

C – three-week program

Dates: July 5–25. Altogether 21 days, 15 days of classes

Arrival date: Sunday, July 4. Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m.

Departure date: Sunday, July 25. Check-out time: before 10:00 a.m.

Intensive Polish Language course: 75 hours, 5 credits/5 ECTS points

NOTE:  

1. Three-week programs as well as the six-week program are intended as the most intensive Polish language courses. Remember: 4–5 hours of Polish a day, five times a we 
2. The initial days listed above (July 5, July 26) are the days of the beginning of the programs (opening ceremony, inaugural lecture, Polish language placement test). Students should arrive in the dormitory the day before (i.e. July 4 or July 25, check-in time: after 4:00 p.m.; the first night is included). The last days are the days of departure. 
3. All prices are listed in Polish currency (PLN).
4. All language exams as well as all in-class tests are included in the total number of academic hours.
