Department of Admissions is a separate administration unit responsible for organizing and providing service related to admission process in the Jagiellonian University. 

Our main responsibility is devising, introducing and ensuring coherence of admission procedures as well as taking over legal and administrative tasks that have been so far the responsibility of admission boards –that includes providing them with necessary administrative service. Our work focuses on improving organization and admission information flow inside University as well as promotion of University's educational offer and admission rules. Everyday work at the Department of Admissions includes maintenance, administration, improvement and ensuring correct functioning of Online Application System as well as keeping our websites up-to-date. Our other tasks include preparing legal acts related to the admission process, supervising publications concerning admissions and many other activities connected with adjusting admission procedures to changes in law regulations.

We base our work on constantly developed and improved Online Application System (OAS). We develop and support electronic ways of submitting application and contacting candidates to provide them with easy access to information and technical support. Catalogues on our websites are always the most accurate source of information about University's educational offer of first-, second-, long-cycle, doctoral and selected post diploma programmes, taught in Polish and other languages. Our websites are available in Polish and in English; online registration is therefore possible for non-Polish speaking candidates.

We ensure equal treatment of all candidates during admission process as well as provide them with constant up-to-date information regarding ongoing admission procedures.
