Undergraduate and Graduate Studies

The Jagiellonian University, proud of its rich heritage and traditions, is looking forward to meet the challenges of the modern world and  the expectations of prospective students. To this end, new innovative study programmes are being introduced on a yearly basis.

In the academic year 2011/2012 the Jagiellonian University offers 59 fields of study and 137 specialisations. From this year on students may enrol in new study programmes including: intellectual property management (Faculty of Management and Social Communication).

The University has also new specializations on offer including media management, intellectual property management, Buddhist studies, bioinformatics, studies in the Holocaust and totalitarian systems (run in Polish), or pure and applied mathematics (run in English).

Besides, the University boasts six unique fields of study including religion studies, biophysics, advanced materials and nanotechnology, neurobiology, cognitive Studies and biochemistry.

In 2010/2011 students may also undertake Interfaculty Studies in the Humanities and Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
