Structural funds

Since 2004 the JU has taken advantage of structural funds, which help finance investment, research and educational projects. The policy was favourably reflected in the 2009 ranking of Polish universities (prepared by the "Rzeczpospolita" daily and the "Perspektywy" monthly), which emphasizes the fact that the JU has been dynamically developing thanks to EU grants and subsidies.

Currently, the JU projects financed by EU structural funds are worth 1157 mln.
