Conference of Vice-Rectors for Research of Medical Universities

The JU Medical College was the host of a conference of Vice-Rectors for Research of Medical Universities, which took place on 14 April 2015 in Collegium Maius. The meeting was officially opened by Prof. Stanisław Kistryn, Vice-Rector for Research and Structural Funds, and Prof. Maciej Małecki, Rector's Proxy for Research and Development at the Medical College.

The participants discussed the legislation regarding laboratory animal testing, the issues related to non-commercial clinical research, changes in regulations of the National Science Centre contests and assessing research institutions by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Committee for Evaluation of Scientific Units as well as the current criteria of degree conferment at medical higher education institutions.
