The football representation of the Jagiellonian University will take part in the Polish-Ukrainian football championship co-organized by the JU University’s Sports Association.
The event will take place on 20-26 September in the cities that host Euro 2012 (Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kiev and Lviv). During the preliminaries in each out of four groups will play two Polish and three Ukrainian teams. The best Polish and Ukrainian team will take part in the championship finals, whereas the teams from both countries that come second will fight for the third place. Similar matches will be organized in Poland next year.
