On Saturday 18 May 2013, at a ceremony in the Main Lecture Hall of Collegium Novum, 26 graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, School of Medicine in English, took the Hippocratic Oath and received diplomas upon completing their 4-year MD degree programme. The new graduates come from the United States of America and Canada.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. dr hab. Piotr Laidler, JU Vice-Rector for Medical College, Prof. dr hab Tomasz Grodzicki, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. dr hab. Jerzy Walocha, President of the School of Medicine in English Council.
