JU joins Polish Days in Odessa
On 23-25 May the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Odessa hosted Polish Days in Odessa. It was a perfect opportunity for the Jagiellonian University to present its educational offer at Ekspo-Jug-Serwis Tourist Fair and to meet Polish diplomats in Odessa as well as potential students and the representives of Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University and Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University.
The Jagiellonian University was represented by Professor Stanisław Sroka, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of History, as well as staff members from the Rector's Office, Office of Marketing and Communications and Department of Admissions.
The programme of the Polish Days in Odessa included the Polish Odessa Competition organised by the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University. As part of this competition, Polish and Ukrainian students designed Polish routes in Odessa. The first prize in the competition, i.e. a month-long stay at the School of Polish Language and Culture, went to Ms Inna Sak.
