According to the data on the Lifelong Learning Programme for 2011/2012 published by the EC Directorate-General for Education and Culture:

• 841 students of the Jagiellonian University took advantage from the Erasmus Programme, which gave the Jagiellonian University 26th place on the ranking list
• 600 foreign students visited the Jagiellonian University, which gave the Jagiellonian University 51st place on the ranking list
• The greatest number of students came from Spain (153), Germany (108) and France (67)
• The number of students accepted by the following faculties: Faculty of Philology (107), Faculty of Management and Social Communication (101), Faculty of Philology (92), Faculty of International and Political Studies (89), Faculty of Law and Administration (69), Faculty of Medicine (49), Faculty of History (37), Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences (23), Faculty of Polish Studies (21).
