Alena Varaksa (Belarus), Aliaksandr M. Bialiayev (Belarus), Kun Zheng (China) and Namuun Dashbold (Mongolia) became winners of the fourth edition of INTERSTUDENT competition, which aims to grant recognition to the foreign students in Poland whose activities on various fields enrich their local academic communities and contribute to building bridges across cultures. The presentation of the awards took place during the PROJUVENES 2013 Student Awards Gala in Palladium Theatre in Warsaw.

The competition was organized within the framework of the "Study in Poland" programme and funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. It was held under the honorary auspices of Dr hab. Wiesław Banyś, the President of CRASP (Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland).

In 2009 and 2012 the award winners included the Jagiellonian University Students.
