JU programmers among the best

The students from Poland took first three places in the Central Europe Collegiate Programming Contest. The team from the University of Warsaw won the contest, whereas the second and third places were taken by the Jagiellonian University teams consisting of: Robert Obryk, Adam Polak, and Maciej Wawro and Jakub Adamek, Grzegorz Guspiel, and Jonasz Pamula. All in all, there were 64 three-person teams from Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary competing in the contest

The contest, held in Prague, was a qualifier for the World Contest, which will be held from 14 to 18 May 2012 in Warsaw.
