The JU Student Government invited its closes partners from foreign higher education institutions as well as the Board of the European Students Union – the most important student organisation in Europe, which unites student governments from nearly every member of the European Higher Education Area.

The meeting began at 3.00 p.m. on 10 May 2014 in the Senate Room in Collegium Novum.

The JU Student Government had honour of receiving guests from the following institutions:

• University of Cambridge,
• Katholieke Universiteit Leuven,
• Rijksuniversiteit Groningen,
• Universitetet i Bergen,
• Universidad de Granada,
• Universität Bremen,
• Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg,
• Masarykova Univerzita v Brně,
• Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici,
• Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem Budapest,
• Lomonosov Moscow state University.

Board of the European Student Union were represented by Blazhe Todorovski and Maros Korman.

The guests took part in all Jubilee events.

The session was held in order to discuss problems and issues related to higher education institutions. The aim of the ESU is to represent and promote educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at the European level.
