JU doctoral students to receive internship in Germany
On the occasion of its 650th Jubilee, the Jagiellonian University has received a gift from Ruhr-Universität Bochum: a 6,500 euro scholarship for one or more doctoral students, to be used until the end of the year 2015.
The regulations of the contest will be issued by the Rector's Committee for Student and PhD Bilateral Scholarships led by Prof. Andrzej Mania, JU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs and will be available to the general public at a later date.
Ruhr-Universität Bochum has been one of the Jagiellonian University's most important partners for 35 years. It was the first university in West Germany which signed an scientific collaboration agreement with the JU on 20 November 1979.
On behalf of the entire academic community of our Alma Mater we thank our benefactor.
