A paper by Prof. Karol Życzkowski and Dr Zbigniew Puchała of the JU Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science, written in collaboration with Dr Łukasz Rudnicki from the Polish Academy of Sciences, entitled Majorization entropic uncertainty relations, was highlighted as "outstanding research published in 2013" by the Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical.
