FameLab International – keep your fingers crossed!

FameLab International will take place on 15 June at 7.00 pm in Cheltenham. The meeting will bring together eminent young scholars from all over the world. Every participant will have three minutes to persuade the public and jury that science can be fascinating. Our country will be represented by Monika Koperska, PhD student from the Jagiellonian University (we are keeping our fingers crossed!).

Live coverage of the show will be available here.

Monika Koperska, the winner of the Polish edition of FameLab competition, is a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University. Her research interests focus on conservation chemistry. She is the president of PhD Students Society of the Jagiellonian University.

In her presentation delivered in Warsaw, she managed to persuade the audience that paper is the best way to store data. The Foundation for Polish Science and Copernicus Science Centre awarded her 35 thousand zlotys.
