The renewal of professor Józef Siciak's doctorate after fifty years

On May 18, 2010, the JU Senate celebrated the renewal of professor Józef Siciak’s doctorate. The doctorate renewal is a long-standing tradition of honoring JU outstanding professors who once  received their doctorates here. Professor Józef Siciak received a doctor’s degree in science in June 30, 1960. The degree was granted by the Council of the JU Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and his academic supervisor was professor Franciszek Leja.
