First portfolio company set up by the Jagiellonian Centre of Innovation
JCI Venture limited liability company has set up first portfolio company called ProManus. The company’s aim is to introduce into the market innovative equipment that will serve people who have suffered from serious injuries. First products should become available within a year. JCI Venture has invested a few thousand zlotys in ProManus and co-ordinated the shaping of its business plan.
JCI Venture, started by the Jagiellonian Centre of Innovation, invests seed capital in life science entrepreneurships and by doing so – becomes minority share holder of the emerging companies. The JCI Venture funds, distributed within Operational Programme - Innovative Economy, give support to innovative ideas and contribute to commercialization of science and research.
