W ramach obchodów 60-lecia Krakowskiego Ośrodka Hematologicznego na Małym Rynku w Krakowie zorganizowano „Dzień Krwi". Odbyły się pokazy ratownicze, akcja krwiodawstwa, poszukiwano potencjalnych dawców szpiku kostnego, promowano zdrowy styl życia. Zorganizowano także liczne koncerty, które przyciągnęły na Mały Rynek tysiące osób, pozwalając mówić o zdrowiu w atmosferze zabawy.

The 60th anniversary of the Kraków Center of Haematology was celebrated on May 21-22, 2010. The celebrations included speeches on the academic, diagnostic and medical achievements of the Centre and a meeting of bone marrow donors and recipients. The celebrations were organized by the Chair and Department of Haematology at the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Medicine, led by professor Aleksander Skotnicki.
